Almost nothing
is collected.

last updated · 2026-07-16

This page records what the site does collect, where that data goes, and what a visitor can do about it.

01 · what is collected

Plausible Analytics measures traffic in aggregate. It sets no cookies and identifies no one. Page views, referrers, and country-level location are counted; individuals are not.

Cloudflare fronts the site. Its __cf_bm cookie exists for bot management only, lives for thirty minutes, and does no cross-site tracking.

Nothing else is collected. No newsletter, no accounts, no comments, no forms.

02 · where data is processed

Plausible processes analytics in the EU, on Hetzner servers in Germany.

Cloudflare operates a global edge network. Where EU visitor data is processed in the United States, Standard Contractual Clauses govern the transfer.

Processors
Plausible Analytics cookieless analytics · EU-hosted · retains aggregate statistics only
Cloudflare, Inc. CDN & security · __cf_bm, 30 min · DPA available · SCCs for US transfer
03 · lawful basis

Analytics and security run on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). No processing on this site is based on consent, so there is no consent to manage.

No automated decision-making or profiling occurs.

04 · your rights

Under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection. Requests go to hello@gray.bot.

Complaints can be lodged with a local data protection supervisory authority.

05 · why there is no cookie banner

Plausible sets no cookies. Cloudflare’s __cf_bm is strictly necessary. Nothing on this site requires consent, so nothing asks for it.

06 · controller

gray.bot is operated by an individual. Contact: hello@gray.bot.

07 · changes

This policy changes when the data flows change — for instance, if a newsletter is added. The date above is the record.
